Herman Heukelman, P.Eng

Herman grew up in South Africa and received his degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pretoria. He gained experience in the defense industry designing and manufacturing armored vehicles for both the Canadian and Danish military. From there he moved into structural analysis, heavy equipment design and spent over 5 years in product development for down hole tools in the Canadian oil and gas industry. Herman enjoys solving technical problems with creative design, new technology, and testing.

 

Herman lives in Edmonton with his wife Eulanè and their three kids Heleine, David, and Annabelle. When he gets the chance, he will slip away for a motorcycle ride, tackle a new wood building project in the garage, or learn a new song on the guitar.
