Curtis Brook, EIT
Curtis attended the University of Alberta where he received his degree from the Mechanical Engineering Co-op Program. During his co-op terms and after graduation, Curtis gained experience in mechanical design and manufacturing, most recently focusing on downhole tools and accessories for electric submersible pumps, as well as custom installation tools and lifting equipment. His design methodology of finding simple, elegant solutions to problems he’s presented with is influenced by the high value he places on continuous improvement and his manufacturing experience.
Curtis grew up in Edmonton and still lives there with his fiancée Emily. Outside of work he spends a lot of time outdoors with friends and family, hiking, camping, and snowboarding. In his free time at home, he enjoys being in the kitchen, cooking or baking bread.
